Eastern European Experience

An engaging and fun-filled day which begins with a walkabout inside a supermarket which sells fresh and regular food and drink items from many European countries including Poland, Romania, Hungary and many more! The shop will enable children to see a variety of items – some familiar and others not. They will also learn about food ingredients and speciality dishes.

The day will end with a visit to a church which is home to a large congregation from an Eastern European country where children will learn about migration in the 20th century as well as post 2000. A further exploration of culture and faith will be provided.

Whole day – maximum 1 class – 35 children
