Accessibility Statement
St Philip’s Centre wants as many people as possible to be able to use this website. We are committed to making our website accessible and to improving accessibility as the site develops.
Using this website
We aim to make the website clear, straightforward and usable with a range of devices and assistive technologies. Depending on your browser and device, you should be able to:
zoom in without text becoming unreadable or content becoming difficult to use;
navigate much of the website using a keyboard;
use screen-reading software to access text and navigation;
understand the structure of pages through meaningful headings and labels; and
access important information without relying only on colour, images or visual formatting.
The website is built using Squarespace. Squarespace provides accessibility features including semantic page structures, keyboard focus indicators, a ‘Skip to Content’ link and facilities for adding alternative text to images. St Philip’s Centre is responsible for how these features are used and for the accessibility of the content added to the site.
Our accessibility standard
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where reasonably possible. As this is a newly developed website, accessibility will be reviewed as part of the build and after launch. We do not claim that every page or item of third-party content is fully compliant unless and until it has been tested.
Content that may be less accessible
Some content may be provided through third-party services or in formats that are harder to make fully accessible. This may include embedded maps, videos, social media content, online forms, historic documents, PDFs or material supplied by partner organisations.
Where practical, we will work to provide accessible alternatives, captions, transcripts, descriptive text or alternative formats when these are needed.
Feedback and requesting information in another format
If you have difficulty using any part of this website, find an accessibility problem, or need information in a different format, please contact us. We will consider your request and aim to provide a suitable alternative where reasonably possible.

Reporting accessibility problems
Please tell us which page or content you were trying to use, what went wrong, and, if relevant, the browser, device or assistive technology you were using. This helps us investigate and improve the website.
Ongoing review
We intend to review this statement and the accessibility of the website periodically, and when significant changes are made to the site.
