Incredible Indian Experience (Full Day) As the UK’s most ‘Indian city’ and home to the famous ‘Golden Mile’ of Indian shops & businesses, this bold and exciting programme makes the most of the Centre’s location in Leicester and brings faith and culture together. This exciting and innovative day will combine a visit to a place of worship with observation of supermarkets, restaurants, saree shops and food tasting. The World in One Street (Full Day) Children can enjoy the globe at local level courtesy of a tour of Narborough Road which has been referred to as the UK’s most diverse street! The tour takes in the sights, sounds and fragrances of many shops, restaurants and other businesses which have strong cultural identities from countries such as Canada, India, Kenya, Poland and Zimbabwe. This programme includes a trail where children are encouraged to look out for specific symbols and points of interest.
