The St Philip's Centre has been proud to support the work of FODIP, the Forum for discussion of Israel and Palestine. The Forum has worked across the UK to enable people to develop a better understanding of the complexity of the situation in Israel and Palestine. The particular project that the Centre has been supporting is the "Tough Options' project, which has brought together Jewish, Christian and Muslim young people to learn together about the conflict and the lives of those caught up in it. On Thursday 1st March, FODIP hosted two speakers from Solutions not Sides, one Israeli and the other Palestinian, who shared their perspectives and experiences of living in the region. We had an honest and open discussion, with opportunities for developing greater understanding and trust between the young people in relation to the conflict. For the St Philip's Centre this is another opportunity to help people to learn to live well together, and we look forward to continuing working with FODIP in the future.
