St Philip’s Centre is a registered charity (number 1114686), and we rely on the generosity of our supporters.  A gift in your will, whether large or small, could make a real difference to what we can do.  We are grateful for all gifts.

We always recommend that you consult a professional when making or changing your will, who will be able to advise on your particular circumstances.  If you decide to include us, here is the wording we suggest: "I give the sum of [amount in words] (£______ [amount in figures]) [OR I give the residue of my estate] to the St Philip’s Centre (Charity Registration Number 1114686), 2A Stoughton Drive North, Leicester, LE5 5UB, United Kingdom absolutely for its general charitable purposes. I further direct that the receipt of the Chief Executive or other proper officer of the said charity for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said gift.”  If you already have a will, but want to add a gift to St Philip’s Centre, you can do this by means of a codicil (a document added to an existing will).  Gifts to charities such as St Philip’s Centre are exempt from inheritance tax.

If you are happy to tell us whether or not you decide to include St Philip’s Centre in your will, it is helpful for us to know, and we would like to thank you and keep you updated about our work.

As well as gifts in wills, some supporters like to give a donation in memory of a loved one, or instead of flowers at a funeral or memorial service.

If you would like to talk to someone about remembering St Philip’s Centre in your will, or making an in memoriam gift, please contact the Director, Tom Wilson, on [email protected] or call 0116 2733459.

Thank you very much for supporting St Philip’s Centre.
