We at St Philip’s Centre believe that in order to create lasting conditions for respect and acceptance, we need to inculcate these values in our children and young people. This is why we have a wide programme of exciting and interactive religious and belief learning on offer. By utilising our partners across the different communities and places of worship, we are able to provide authentic and rooted information which is about lived experiences. Our programmes build on the material which is often found in text books to create an experience which enthuses participants.
Our education team will work with you to ensure that curriculum requirements are met and that your school or college has an enjoyable and safe engagement with us. Whilst we have a series of learning packages, we can tailor content to suit your needs. Over the years, many thousands of children, young people and teachers from across the Midlands and beyond have engaged with us and told us about the powerful learning they have sampled as a result.
Our schools and colleges offer is comprehensive, quality assured and reputable. Our staff and team of community faith practitioners have excelled in delivering a wide variety of education and training for pupils and staff in many schools and colleges. For us, the principles of diversity and unity go hand in hand. Our programmes promote equality, respect and non-discrimination. The freedom to adhere to different faiths and beliefs is protected in law and must not be the cause of prejudicial or discriminatory behaviour.
Our menu of high quality inter faith programmes for schools and colleges meet curriculum and life skills needs and we are sure that your children, young people, staff, governors, parents and guardians will value the authenticity of our work.
