FORWARD WITH CONFIDENCE
Senior Executive – Independent Oversight of Review of Governance
Expressions of Interest invited
The St Philip’s Centre is currently undertaking a thorough review of its governance structure, legal constitution, aims and objectives as an organisation. This review is designated “Forward with Confidence.”
The Forward with Confidence review has been undertaken by means of a brief online survey (https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/N9D2QVQ) and a series of one-to-one and group consultations, facilitated by the Director and Deputy Director of the Centre. As a further part of the review, the Centre is seeking expressions of interest to undertake approximately twenty days work deepening our engagement with our stakeholders.
The successful candidate will, working with the Director,
- Provide independent oversight of the review.
- Ensure the voices of all stakeholders are heard. This will include one-to-one conversations with key stakeholders, analysis of survey data and other appropriate strategies.
- Present an interim report to the Trustees’ meeting on Tuesday 5th September and a final, detailed report, including discussion of possible ways forward, at the Trustees’ Away Day on Monday 30th October.
The contract will end on Tuesday 31st October 2017.
Interested candidates are invited to tender within the region of £4500.
For an informal conversation about this contract and the reasons for the review, please contact the Director, Revd Dr Tom Wilson – email@example.com -0116 2733459.
Formal expressions of interest should be sent to the Director, Revd Dr Tom Wilson, by 5pm on Thursday 10th August. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview on Monday 14th August.
The St Philip’s Centre was established in 2006, and over the past eleven years has developed a national and international reputation as a centre of excellence in interfaith resourcing and training. We work with local and national government, schools, colleges, universities, public sector organisations and a variety of faith and belief communities.
As we seek to develop and expand our work, we are looking for support in developing our fundraising and marketing strategies in order to stabilise our unrestricted income and establish revenue schemes for expanding areas of work.
We are inviting expressions of interest from an experienced fundraiser for an initial six-month contract to begin to develop the work. The ideal candidate will have public and corporate fundraising expertise within the charity sector or will have consumer/retail sales and marketing experience. We are particularly looking for individuals with a genuine interest in interfaith work in the UK. The contract is expected to run from September 2017 to February 2018, roughly equivalent to one day per week. There is a possibility of extension and development of the work after this time.
The successful candidate will work with the Director to develop a strategy for:
- Building relationships with philanthropists and major donors;
- Generating additional revenue streams;
- Reviewing the current Ambassadors Scheme.
Interested candidates are invited to tender within the region of £6000.
If you would like an informal conversation to discuss the tender, contact the Director.
Expressions of interest should be sent to the Director, Revd Dr Tom Wilson, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Interviews will be held on 1st September 2017
