A special service of thanksgiving
Rev John Austin

A special service of thanksgiving was held at St Philip's Cathedral in Birmingham on 4 November to celebrate the life of Bishop John Austin, who died in August. John Austin was a founding trustee of the Centre. The following tribute was given by Andrew Wingate at the Cathedral service.  It is based on his close friendship with John and the family and his joint work in the inter faith area including the work with St Philip’s Centre, dialogue groups in Leicester with Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims and many other common projects.
