Dean of Post Graduate Studies

Revd Canon Dr Alan Race

Canon Dr Alan Race is half-time Dean of Postgraduate Studies at St. Philip’s Centre, Leicester, and oversees courses which are validated through the University of Birmingham.  He is also half-time parish priest at St.Philip’s Church, which is an area with 85% people of faiths other than Christian.

 He has been in Leicester for 14 years and participated in interfaith relations through the Council of Faiths and other bodies.  He has published in the field of dialogue and interfaith theology and is the Editor-in-Chief for the international journal Interreligious Insight: a journal of theology and engagement.
