St Philip’s Centre is awarded £1,000 from the Aviva Community Fund
We are delighted to have received £1,000 from the Aviva Community Fund 2016 for our 10,000 People Inter Faith Engagement Programme. The money will go towards refreshing the artefacts in the ‘faith boxes’ which we use for our work with schools and colleges.
Riaz Ravat BEM, Programme Leader
Our schools and colleges offer is comprehensive, quality assured and reputable. Our staff and team of community faith practitioners have excelled in delivering a wide variety of education and training for pupils and staff in many schools and colleges. For us, the principles of diversity and unity go hand in hand. Our programmes promote equality, respect and non-discrimination. The freedom to adhere to different faiths and beliefs is protected in law and must not be the cause of prejudicial or discriminatory behaviour.
Our menu of high quality inter faith programmes for schools and colleges meet curriculum and life skills needs and we are sure that your children, young people, staff, governors, parents and guardians will value the authenticity of our work.
