– Unfamiliar Journey
Religion seems to have a higher profile in our country today than for many years. From local planning applications to international crises, issues of faith seem to be increasingly important. But how much do we really know about others’ beliefs and practices?
Unfamiliar Journey explores a Christian’s response to living in a multi-faith world by exploring other world religions, the in-depth study of two of them and putting those faiths into context by visits to their places of worship.
The course takes place over 4 evenings including visits to places of worship. It is primarily for Christians of all denominations but those of other faiths are also welcome to attend.
Over 30 courses have been run in Leicester and Leicestershire over the past few years.
