St Philip's Centre

Study & Engagement in a Multi Faith Society

Vision:

Our vision is for a Centre rooted in the multi faith context of Leicester, which will assist in equipping churches for ministry, service and mission in such a context.

Mission:

Our missio is to enable Christians and churches to be a positive presence in a multi faith world, prepared to shared their faith, to learn from other faiths, and to assist all in promoting the common good.

The Centre has been developed as a partnership between several denominations, to whom we express our thanks. We are particularly grateful to the people of St Philip's Church, the Diocese of Leicester and its Bishop enabling the location and development of the Centre at the church and vicarage.

Objectives:

  • To Deliver training to Christians, lay and ordained, to enable them to live confidently in a multi-faith society and engage, within their various contexts, in dialogue and mission.
